The CLIMB is a 3-day leadership program designed to empower individuals to take bold, transformative actions within their communities. The course equips Climbers with knowledge in Board Leadership, Civic Leadership, and Personal Leadership.

SPEAKERS

Erin Slater

Erin Slater, owner of Intentional Coaching + Consulting maintains her own portfolio of clients while leading a growing team of outstanding certified coaches and credentialed coaches who also have non-profit experience. Erin spent much of her career growing and leading a non-profit organization that now reaches ten states and serves 3,500 kids with nearly 100,000 annual volunteer service hours. She has experience as a program director, development director, and six years as CEO.

Bryan Richards

As the founder of Envisioneurs, Bryan is a thought partner and initiative designer for social impact organizations. He also teaches Design Innovation for nonprofits, universities, and businesses. Bryan’s earlier roles were at a Harvard University-based nonprofit center, the Indinapolis Mayor’s Office, an urban economic and community design team, and a global consulting firm. Bryan has also served in nonprofit board and volunteer positions for education, arts, health, and sports groups. Bryan is a graduate of UCLA, the University of Michigan, and Harvard.

Anna Leung

Anna is an initiative designer for social impact organizations. She also teaches Assistive Technology at the university level. Anna’s background includes roles at Easterseals, Bosma Enterprises, and professional services firms, along with nonprofit volunteer activities. Anna graduated from Boston College and Bentley University.

Erin Hedges

Since founding Hedges in 2002, Erin has become a trusted thought leader within the nonprofit community. Erin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Butler University, and a Master of Arts in Philanthropic Studies from the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy at Indiana University and is a BoardSource Certified Nonprofit Board Consultant. Erin has served as President of the Board of Directors for Dove House, the Alumni Board for Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, and Joy’s House, where she also serves as a Director’s Council member.

Kara Harrison

Kara Harrison is a consultant at Hedges and previously was a Community Investment and Grants Officer at a community foundation and an Executive Director at a mental health-focused nonprofit. Kara holds a BoardSource Certificate of Nonprofit Board Consulting and a Change Management Certificate from Cornell University. Coming from direct service, philanthropy, and nonprofit leadership, Kara can relate to clients while also considering best practices for operating efficient and effective organizations.
